Neck and back pain
We start with a full history, a check-up and X-rays, so we treat the cause and not just the sore spot. Adjustments are gentle and suited to you.
Treated recently for heck and back issues, amazing difference, especially after a few sessions. Matt is a precise and gentle practitioner. Seriously should have done before and after vid to show the difference in my movement. Highly recommend.
Stiff from long days at a desk

Care through pregnancy
Pregnancy pillows let you lie face down in comfort, and we use gentle, low force techniques like the Activator. Pregnancy massage is here too.
My partner and I have been coming here for years. At one point we were driving up to hour just for a treatment. I had appointments throughout my pregnancy and we now go as a family with our baby. The reception staff are so welcoming and always bring a smile to my face. Couldn’t recommend these guys more!
Babies and kids
Parents bring newborns and children. We only use gentle, low force techniques, and there are toys and colouring for little ones.
We have been attending Chiroworks for more than 6 years. Regardless of who we see, we always have a wonderful experience. Today we were treated by Dr Matt, he was kind and gentle and made us all feel better after our visit. The receptionists are warm, friendly and adore our little people. I would highly recommend them.
Sport, dance and weekend knocks
Sore shoulders, tight hips and old injuries get a hands on plan to keep you moving. Sports massage and myotherapy are on site for the muscles.
I have been going to Chiro-works for over 2 years now. They have helped me get through various dance injuries and kept me doing what I love. All the staff are fantastic. Very happy to recommend.
Meet Dr Matt Hammond
Dr Matt looked after the regional Gippsland community for several years before bringing his skills to Bayside. Every plan starts with a thorough check, because no two bodies are the same.
He keeps learning through regular seminars and workshops. Away from the clinic you will find him snowboarding, camping or playing hockey.

Your first visit
No quick crack and out the door. We find out what is going on first, then show you the plan.
X-rays, if you need them, are $150. Ask the front desk about family rates.
Your results and plan
We go through your results and X-rays with you, explain what we found and what may have caused it, then give your first adjustment.
Regular visits
Adjustments on your plan, with massage or myotherapy when the muscles need it too.

Will I need X-rays?
Yes, for new patients. We take them here at the clinic during your first visit, and we need them before any adjustment.
Can I claim on my health fund?
Yes. We accept private health funds and have HICAPS at the desk.
Can I book a massage without seeing the chiro?
Yes. Massage is open to everyone, whether or not you see Dr Matt.
Is it safe for my baby?
We use only gentle, low force techniques with babies and children. Chiropractic should never hurt, and we take extra care to keep your child comfortable.
